IN REFERENCE TO THE VENUE CHANGE
BACK TO A 1ST RUN VENUE:
When a movie theatre goes from 1st
run to discount it needs a higher volume of people to go and that is
what usually happens, except in Prescott. The only day that was
higher in attendance was Tuesday. The other days were actually lower
than when we were 1st run. We really thought because of the economy
etc. the population of the Tri-Cities would have embraced the
concept too.
Most people just want the 1st run films. The theatre could not stay
in business with the discount venue....just not enough bodies going
to the theatre. The studios will not allow a theatre to mix discount
films with 1st run. (according to them people pay for the discount
films and go into the 1st run)
It is still our intent to upgrade the theatre with better sight,
Digital Surround Sound Sound, draft beer and MOttsa Rellas pizza in
the very near future. Expect to see a terrific "Family Pizza/Movie
Special"....4 movie tickets, a large 16" pizza, and a pitcher of
soda or beer for only $35.00!
We do have new daily specials too, like $5.00 Tuesdays, $.50 popcorn
for kids on Sundays and now College Student days on Thursdays
($5.00), FREE movies on your birthday with the e-mail newsletter and
coming soon - great weekly coupons in the weekly e-mail newsletter.
The Frontier Village Cinema also accepts the Harkins loyalty cups
for $1.00 refills. We will also bring back the refillable popcorn
bucket. Seniors and children are only $5.00.
Art films and Indie films will
still come to the Frontier Village Cinema.
Thanks again for taking the time to write and express your thoughts
and great ideas. We do appreciate your patronage and we hope you
continue to frequent the Frontier Village Cinema.
YES!! We are still playing terrific art and foriegn films!

Every Little Step
Year One
EVERY LITTLE STEP -
The 96-minute running time passes by much
too quickly. Instant likability is the best
tag for one of the best documentaries of the
year.
Don't be surprised if you,
too, shed a tear or two
along with the dancers when
they are picked for the role
of a lifetime. It's that
kind of film. It really gets
to you, in a good way.
